Congress facilities

• The Auditorium “Spazio Como” in Grand Hotel di Como, for Plenary Sessions set up with up to 300 seats, speaker's table, podium, screen, videobeamer, overhead projector.
• "Villa Balbaniello" and "Villa Monastero" room set up for poster session with up to 50 bifacial panels (i.e. 100 posters per session).
• "Villa Pliniana" room, set up for exhibition session with up to 15 tables and chairs.
• 1 meeting room (up to 25 people) located in front of the registration desk, for Meetings of Associations (available only Wed 19).
• The coffee breaks can be served either in the Grand Hotel di Como garden, or under a covered area depending on the weather or in "Villa Pliniana" room.

Oral Contributions

• All Session will start with a number of selected Invited Lectures (typical time 20-30 min, discussion included). No parallel sessions are programmed.

• A few contributed papers will be selected for short oral presentations (typical time 10-15 min, discussion included).
• Papers not included in the oral sessions could be presented during the poster sessions.

The presentation computer will be able to display only MS PowerPoint compatible presentation files (.ppt and .pptx)

The Speakers are kindly requested to bring their presentation file on flash disks or CD/DVD ROMs and load them into the master computer in the lecture room well before the start of the respective sessions.

To avoid problems and lose time with changing the computers, the authors will not be allowed to use their own computers.

Dedicated computers will be available for checking the presentation before loading.

Poster Contributions

The poster presentations will form a constituent part of the specific conference sections. The conditions for publication of full papers based on the poster presentations will be identical with those for the publication of verbal communications.

The authors are kindly required to mount their posters onto the panels since Sunday afternoon.

It is required the author(s) attendance at their presentations during the time specified as "Poster Section" in the Congress Program.

The dimensions of the poster panels will be 90 x 180 cm, portrait oriented. The posters should be attached to the panels with pins, since the panel surface will not allow the use of any stickers. The authors are strongly advised to balance the amount of the text displayed with the letter size, colours, and size of figures and tables so as to enable the readers easy orientation in the displayed material even from a distance of at least 150 cm.

Publication of the Proceedings

• The proceedings of the Conference will be published as full papers in an international peer-reviewed radiochemistry journal. Details will be available soon.
