Registration & payment

Registration fees

  • In case of registration before July 22nd (early registration) a reduced fee of 670 EUR applies.
    full registration of 720 EUR is due after July 22nd 2012.
  • A special 1 day attedance (with lunch, coffee breaks and CD of the Abstracts) can be provided at 200 EUR.
  • A special student fee (accompayned by a responsible) of 400 EUR will be available untill the end of the conference. Some grants for young students and scientists will be available too, if the submission of Abtracts is accomplished.
  • A special fee for accompayning persons will be 300 EUR (lunches and coffee breaks included).
  • An optional WiFi (per day or per week) is excluded from the fee: we are working to have it for free otherwise it will cost about 10 EUR. Wifi facilities in the other hotel must be checked at the different web-site addresses.
  • Boat trip with Gala Dinner will be organized for Thu 20th 2012, leaving from the dock at 17.15 at a price of 80 EUR (not included).
  • All registered partecipants and accompayning persons can join the lunches and coffee breaks, while dinners are not included: there are two restaurants and a pizza store inside the "Grand Hotel di Como" and several cheap restaurants in the surraunding area.
  • Payments: the payments must be provided to "Fondazione Alessandro Volta", Como, either by Bank Transfer or Credit Card (see Registration Mode).
    A credit card connection will be available also for last minute on site registration.
  • In case of cancellation after August 11th, 20% of the fee would be reimbursed. From September no rembousement is applied. At any time, if the registered participant cannot attend this conference, someone else may attend in his/her place.

 

Registration Mode

Abstract submission, technical programme and registration is managed by INtegrated DIgital COnference (INDICO) Meetings, Events, Conferences Tool developed by CERN.

     In order to re-visit your registration and update it with abstract submission  you must have an account at INDICO.

     Your INDICO account registration information can be seen only by the NRC-8 organising team and it will be used only as an input into your NRC registration; it will not be available to any third party.

After you receive your confirmation e-mail (the delivery takes about 1 hour) and activate your account, you may log-in to INDICO and submit your abstract / registration for the conference.

If you already have an active INDICO account, you may log-in and submit/review your abstract / registration for the conference here.

Hotel booking and accomodation must be processed personally by filling the "form" at the link "Accomodation".

 

Invitation letter

    If you need an official invitation letter, please contact directly Prof. Mauro L. Bonardi.

    Don’t forget that the administration of the invitation letter takes 30 days, so we can handle only those applications that are sent at least 60 days before the conference. In order to send you the invitation letter we need to have the payment of the registration fee and the accomodation (in case of bank transfer please count 2 weeks for the arrival of the money, in case of credit card payment 2-3 weeks for the revision of the bank).

Upload presentation

It is possible to upload your presentation or your poster on INDICO.

You can access the contributions for which you can submit material by selecting My contributions (you may be redirected to the login page) from the menu in the event homepage. This will take you to your submission area and will list the contributions for which you can submit material.
